International exhibition "Defenders"
On February 22, on the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine, our partners, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, presented the exhibition project "Defenders". This project is about brave, strong, heroic and beautiful people. Expressive photos of Ukrainian soldiers who have been stubbornly resisting total evil for more than a year, defending their native land and standing guard over the security of Europe and the world.
The photos were taken during the museum expedition, which took place in July 2022 with the support of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. General Director of the Museum Yuriy Savchuk and museum photographer-volunteer from Sweden, Andrzej Markevich, made a trip to the locations of military units. Being there, on the territory of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kyiv Oblasts, the museum staff photographed servicemen of various types and branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thousands of kilometers were covered along the front line, the majestic figures of the defending soldiers were recorded.
Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
