Online discussion “Help during the war”
“Network for Help to Victims of National Socialist Crimes”, set up in Germany, is organizing offline and online events from 18th to 29th June. In particular, the online discussion “Help during the war” will take place on June 20, where Ukrainian, Polish and German colleagues will share their experiences. Anatolii Podolskyi, scholar and director of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies, will be among the participants in the discussion. The discussion will be conducted in German and English. The organizers believe that such events will unite people in support of the Network.
48 memorial sites, museums, communities and initiatives in Germany have joined forces in the “Network for Assistance to Victims of National Socialist Crimes” – Hilfsnetzwerk für Überlebende der NS-Verfolgung in der Ukraine. Since its inception, our project and “Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe” foundation (Stiftung Denkmal) have been members of the Network.
The Network provides assistance to people who survived Nazi persecution and their families. Ukrainian historians, museum workers, teachers, journalists who have found themselves in a crisis situation due to russia's war against Ukraine are also receiving assistance.
