Dear colleagues! Acceptance of applications for the annual student works on "History and lessons of the Holocaust'' named after I.B. Medvinsky has been continued!!
We are waiting for your online applications until February 10, inclusively.
We remind you that completed works must be submitted by April 10, 2023.
The presentation of the works will take place in May 2023 (depending on the security situation). Organizers will inform separately about the format of the works’ presentation. Read more about the competition and terms of participation on the our website:
International Partnership Forum at Yad Vashem - the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, March 13-15, 2023
The Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies is part of a large and friendly community of state and public organizations that implement Yad Vashem approaches in research, teaching, and methodological work. The 2023 Yad Vashem Partner Forum once again proved the importance of international cooperation and support, bringing together representatives of 55 countries. In the conditions of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the participants of the Forum expressed their sincere support for the UCHS in the fight against discrimination and xenophobia, caused by the war crimes and violation of human rights by the russian occupiers.[More]

Events within the international project "Memory Network" in the local history museum of Okhtyrka
On February 20, "DOCUpanorama" film club was opened in the museum. Spectators were representatives of the city's Jewish community, residents of Okhtyrka. The film "Wordless" directed by Anna Malakhova and Anna Dorozhko was on, the project's historical consultant was Andriy Usach. This film is about the Holocaust and the culture of memory.[More]
