Series of webinars on the topic: Memory of Babyn Yar

insidethegatesWe´re excited to announce that the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies begins a new series of webinars on 29th October 2020. As the first webinar of eight, it offers information about the Memory of Babyn Yar, such as new methods for teachers using the possibilities of distant and mixed learning.

The first webinar will take place on 29.10.2020. We will talk about those who made the memorial culture of Babyn Yar realistic: the people who are directly connected to our picture of Babyn Yar. Furthermore, we will discuss methods to include this subject into the educational process.

The second webinar will take place on 01.11.2020 and informs about architectural projects of the memorialization of Babyn Yar from 1940 until today.
