Remembrance Day for Ukrainians who rescued Jews during World War II

insidethegatesOn May 14, 2022, Ukraine for the second time honoured the Day of Remembrance of Ukrainians who saved Jews during the Second World War. Today, 2,673 Ukrainians have been awarded this high title by the State of Israel. At the same time, thousands of rescuers remain unrecognized and unknown.

Today, new Heroes are appearing in Ukraine, whose deeds are inherently comparable to the exploits of the Righteous Among the Nations.

The marathon was dedicated to all civilians killed by Russian Nazism.
