On the 9-11 of May 2019 research and methodological seminar “Holocaust and mass violence on the Ukrainian territories in the first half of the XX century” for the teachers of history from Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Volyn regions took place in Lviv. The seminar was carried out by the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies together with M?morial de la Shoah (Paris) and Memorial Museum of Totalitarian Regimes “Territory of Terror” (Lviv).

Ukrainian-French research seminar “Comparative Approach of the Genocide and Mass Killings” 3-8 October 2015
Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies in cooperation with Department for History of T. Schevchenko Kyiv National Univesity and the French Memorial de la Shoah (Paris) held on 18-20 November 2105 an academic seminar for young researchers under the title “Comparative Approach of the Genocide and Mass Killings” with participation of leading Ukrainian and French experts in the topic.

Online discussion “Help during the war”
“Network for Help to Victims of National Socialist Crimes”, set up in Germany, is organizing offline and online events from 18th to 29th June. In particular, the online discussion “Help during the war” will take place on June 20, where Ukrainian, Polish and German colleagues will share their experiences. Anatolii Podolskyi, scholar and director of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies, will be among the participants in the discussion. The discussion will be conducted in German and English. The organizers believe that such events will unite people in support of the Network.

The book-catalogue “Mass shootings. The Holocaust from Baltic to Black Sea 1941-1944” was published within the framework of the international German-Ukrainian project “Connecting memory”. This catalogue was created as a part of the exhibition organized by the “Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe” and “The Topography of Terror” foundations. This is a powerful result of joint research work of German, Ukrainian and Belarusian historians.

Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture (MFJC), which promotes the development of Judaica academic research and supports scholars and leaders of Jewish communities around the world, has announced the launch of a special program to support scholars studying Jewish history and who are currently in Ukraine. Video conference for teachers and students of the Asia-Pacific region
On May 12, 2022 the director of UCHS Dr. Anatolii Podolskyi gave a lecture dedicated to Ukrainian resistance during the war in Ukraine and russian aggression that has been going on for more than 3 months. It was an online conference held in French cultural centre in Tokyo. Approximately 200 university and high school students together with their teachers participated in such an important event. Colleagues and their students represented 7 countries of the Pacific region: Japan, Australia, Cambodia, China, South Korea, Indonesia and Vietnam.
