IN MEMORIAM Mykhailo Savchenko (1952-2023)

insidethegatesGrief and sorrow... On June 21, 2023, our colleague and true friend, the sincere Ukrainian Teacher Mykhailo Pylypovych Savchenko, passed away.
70 years of his life, 50 of which he gave to Ukrainian historical education. Honored teacher of Ukraine, history teacher, teacher-methodologist, researcher, deputy director for educational and methodological work of the Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages No. 1. The Excellent Educator of Ukraine. An accident and illness took his life.

Mykhailo Pylypovych cooperated with UCHS for many years. From the very beginning of our activity, since 2002! He participated in all important projects of the Center, prepared students for the competitions, worked at round tables, took care of preserving the memory of the victims of the Second World War, studied and taught, and did everything nobly and professionally. It was a great honor for us to work with such a true Teacher, as Mykhailo Savchenko, who was and will remain in our memory.
