Нове видання у співпраці з Інститутом вивчення Голокосту і прав людини ім. Ольги Ленгель

Ми раді повідомити про новий етап у вже майже п’ятирічній співпраці між УЦВІГ та Інститутом вивчення Голокосту і прав людини ім. Ольги Ленгель. Цього року вийшла друком українська версія методичних рекомендацій «Вчимося з минулого – діємо заради майбутнього» авторства Оани Нестіан-Санду.  

Тепер більше сотні українських випускників нашого спільного семінару-школи, а також усі інші зацікавлені освітяни, зможуть ознайомитися з ключовими методичними принципами роботи Інституту, отримають збірник готових занять для різновікової аудиторії. Міждисциплінарний підхід, запропонований у цьому посібнику, поєднує підходи та методи навчання про історію Голокосту, права людини та міжкультурної освіти з метою допомогти учням дізнатися про минуле, зрозуміти, як минуле пов’язане зі сьогоденням, і сприяти розвитку демократичних і багатокультурних суспільств, у яких кожна людина може жити з гідністю.

    The YouTube channel "10 Questions to a Historian" featured an interview about the history of the Auschwitz death camp, which has become an undisputed symbol of Nazi crimes in World War II. This is the story of how some people (including educated and seemingly mentally healthy people) killed other people on a scale and systematic basis that had never been seen before. The "banality of evil" was that the virtue of loyalty turned bureaucrats into committed genocide performers.
