Presentation of Ida Fink’s book in Kyiv: “Сад відпливає”
On monday, the 25th Ocotber 2021, the presentation of Ida Fink’s book “Сад відпливає” (Sad vidplyvae) takes place in the Kyiv bookstore «Zakapelok» (вул. Верхній Вал, 62).
The collection of stories about the fate of Jews during World War II will be discussed by the book's translator Natalka Rimsky and the director of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies Anatoliy Podolsky.

Remembrance Day for Ukrainians who rescued Jews during World War II
On May 14, 2022, Ukraine for the second time honoured the Day of Remembrance of Ukrainians who saved Jews during the Second World War. Today, 2,673 Ukrainians have been awarded this high title by the State of Israel. At the same time, thousands of rescuers remain unrecognized and unknown.
