2-7 December 2019 the XII educational and methodological R. Kuwalek study trip “History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland”  took place as a joint project by Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and the Lublin based Osrodek «Brama Grodska – Teatr NN». 14 educators and multipliers had a possibility to visit memorial sites and take part in thematic workshops and lectures.

During the Ukrainian part of the trip the group visited Lviv, Rava-Rusks and Zhovkva then travelled to Poland to visit memorials on the sites of former Nazi death camps Belzec and Majdanek. It was important for the participants not only to visit the sites, but also to exchange knowledge and pedagogic approaches with museum and memorial representatives. The seminar was made possible owing to the support from the American Jewish Committee and Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany
