  • Annual Seminar in Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Memorial de la Shoah

    The annual educational and methodological study trip to Memorial de la Shoah for Ukrainian educators took place on 19-24 December 2016. It was commonly organized by Memorial de la Shoah (France) and UCHS.

    Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies together with Memorial de la Shoah (Paris) are holding on 2-7 October 2011 the fourth annual research-educational seminar for Ukrainian teacher-trainers and NGO-leaders on World War II and the Holocaust in Europe. The seminar will take place in Memorial de la Shoah in Paris.

  • Third Research Seminar on Comparing the History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and France

    On 17 - 22 October 2010 Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and the well-known European research, educational and memorial center "Memorial de la Shoah" in Paris have for the third time in a row held a research seminar for Ukrainian history teachers on comparing the fates of Jewish communities under the Nazi occupation and the Holocaust on Ukrainian and French territories. This way the Centre continued the cooperation with the French colleagues.

  • Second Research Seminar on Comparing the History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and France

    On 5 - 9 October 2009 Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and the well-known European research, educational and memorial center "Memorial de la Shoah" in Paris have for the second time held a research seminar for Ukrainian history teachers on comparing the fates of Jewish communities under the Nazi occupation and the Holocaust on Ukrainian and French territories. This way the Centre continued the cooperation with the French colleagues.
    15 participants of this seminar represented eight regions of Ukraine (Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Poltava, Kyiv, Sumy, Sebastopol, Lviv, Ternopil). Traditionally, below are some of their feedback essays in Ukrainian.

  • Educational Seminar on Comparative Studies of the Holocaust in Ukraine and France

    The seminar was organized by Memorial de la Shoah in Paris and Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies under the support of ITF. Among the participants were 15 Ukrainian teachers of History and Humanities, previously acquainted with the history of the Holocaust in Europe and Ukraine and having already taken part in educational projects of Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies, Yad Vashem International School for Holocaust Studies and Belzec Memorial Museum.
