History of genocides in Ukraine: studying the experience and challenges of the present. Call for participants for the seminar

insidethegatesSince 2022, the UCHS, in cooperation and with funding from the Shoah Memorial (Paris), has been holding two-day research seminars for educators in Ukraine on topics related to the history and memory of genocides on the territory of Ukraine in the global context. The speakers at the seminar are Ukrainian and French scholars. The working language of the event is Ukrainian with simultaneous translation.

It is planned to hold two such events in 2024: in Kyiv (12-13.06) and Lviv (15-16.06).

Please note: the organisers of the event provide meals and educational materials. The organisers do not cover travel and/or accommodation costs for participants If you want to take part in the seminar but do not live in Kyiv or Lviv, you need to arrange your own travel and accommodation. Participation in all programme activities is mandatory.

All participants will receive certificates.
