Seminar for History Teachers in Kremenets, 2010

On 22- 23 August 2010 Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies held an educational and methodical seminar on the history of the Holocaust in Ukraine and issues of teaching about this topic. The seminar was organized for teachers of history and humanities of Ukrainian secondary educational establishments.
This meeting included lectures, discussions, workshops and a guided tour. Among the various discussed aspects of the Holocaust in Ukrainian territories and other European countries were policies of totalitarian regimes towards Jews, Nazi genocide on Jews, resistance, Ukrainian-Jewish relations in the inter-war period and during the Holocaust, ideology of Nazi antisemitism etc.
