The 14th Annual Educational and Methodical Seminar in Holocaust Studies for Ukrainian Teachers at Yad Vashem, 2019

insidethegatesOn November 17-25, 2019 the 14th annual seminar for Ukrainian educators was held at Yad Vashem International School for Holocaust Studies (ISHS) in cooperation with the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies (UCHS) and owing to the financial support of the Association of Jewish Organizations and Communities of Ukraine (Vaad of Ukraine). This time 23 alumni of our summer-school and some other projects of UCHS took part. They enjoyed the intensive and interesting programme, great study trips, visits to holy sites and exceptionally supportive atmosphere. Following the seminar the participants will bring the new knowledge and skills to their classrooms.

    The YouTube channel "10 Questions to a Historian" featured an interview about the history of the Auschwitz death camp, which has become an undisputed symbol of Nazi crimes in World War II.
