"How to talk about the Holocaust after February 24?" We invite you to the working group.

insidethegatesIn 2022, we decided to abandon the traditional format of the educational seminar-summer school for Teachers which we had had for almost 10 years. Given the active hostilities, russia's military aggression against our country since 2014, which erupted with renewed vigor on February 24, we feel the need to realize what is happening to all of us now and what consequences this may have for future Holocaust and World War II education. We would like to share this process with the participants of our educational events, colleagues and fellow educators.

The preservation of peace and coexistence, respect for human rights and diversity is a task to which we must pay special attention as we seek to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

    Historian and ethnopolitical scientist Vitaliy Nakhmanovych, with the financial support of the Museum of Kyiv History, created the website Kyiv Defense Chronicles, which features a daily chronology of the Battle for Kyiv from February 24 to April 10, 2022.

  • The Library Support Program successfully completed

    We are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed a program to support libraries of all levels in the country. The program lasted more than two months. During this time, 340 libraries across the country received publications from the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies!
