Summer school: "Culture and Politics of Memory: From Idea to Change"
On August 20-22, 2023, the first stage of the school "Culture and politics of memory: from idea to change" will be held in Rivne. Its result will be the development of 10 mini-projects by participants. The school takes place within the framework of the Memory Paths Project, which is conducted by the Mnemonic Center and is a key stage of the project.
The death of innocent people always leaves a deep mark on history. September 29-30 are the days when Ukraine and the world commemorate the victims of Babyn Yar. These days remind us how important it is to remember the past. The memory of Babyn Yar reminds us that it is important to keep the world from sinking into the darkness of hatred and cruelty. The preservation of peace and coexistence, respect for human rights and diversity is a task to which we must pay special attention as we seek to prevent similar tragedies in the future.[More]
