Presentation of Ida Fink’s book in Kyiv: “Сад відпливає”
On monday, the 25th Ocotber 2021, the presentation of Ida Fink’s book “Сад відпливає” (Sad vidplyvae) takes place in the Kyiv bookstore «Zakapelok» (вул. Верхній Вал, 62).
The collection of stories about the fate of Jews during World War II will be discussed by the book's translator Natalka Rimsky and the director of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies Anatoliy Podolsky.
Mykhailo Tiaglyy, a research associate at Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies spoke on the “Suspilne Kultura” broadcast about the silencing of the Roma genocide topic, the integration of national minorities into Ukrainian society, and the fight against stereotypes.[More]
